The HEAD kernel is now updated to 2.6.24-rc2.
Which, for what it's worth, fails to stop my machine cleanly. The previous git snapshot I tested didn't have the problem. I'll have to investigate.
Which previous snapshot? Were you using SL11_2_6_24_DEVEL_BRANCH or a vanilla -git snapshot? I have my personal checkin history still in that branch for debugging if that's where you were getting the code.
Vanilla git snapshot (rc1-git15). I don't think I'll have the time to investigate this before Monday. If nobody has fixed it by then, I'll give it a stab.
Huuu, false alert, sorry. I had accidentally disabled ACPI from my kernel. I'm fairly certain that my machine will stop just fine once ACPI is compiled back in. -- Jean Delvare Suse L3 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+help@opensuse.org
