Thanks. It's a PCH_TGP, so relatively new stuff.
I guess this could be covered by the upstream commit 6d3144eb367063df630248e0564b75701f63423b.
A test kernel is being built in OBS home:tiwai:bsc1192758 repo. Once after the build finishes, it'll appear at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/bsc1192758/pool/
Please give it a try later.
Thanks Takashi. How would you recommend to test the new kernel? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1192758 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1192758#c6 --- Comment #6 from Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.com> --- Just go to the URL above (and subdirectory x86_64), download kernel-default-5.3.*.rpm, maybe kernel-default-extra*.rpm and kernel-default-optional*.rpm, too. Then install those with "zypper install kernel-default*.rpm", reboot with that kernel, and test. Note that it's an unofficial build, hence it won't boot with Secure Boot. If you've used Secure Boot, turn it off in BIOS beforehand. BTW, the message you posted doesn't mean the actual crash, but it's merely a warning from the kernel with the stack trace. Although this might be a cause of the later real crash, it can't be judged at this moment. If you experience with a real "crash" (the machine stall or reboot) and when you get the crash message like that, it'll be helpful to analyze further. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

I tested this new kernel and I don't see the warning message about i915 driver. That fixes the issue. ----dmesg -lwarn -lerr---- [ 2.330241] acpi PNP0C14:02: duplicate WMI GUID 05901221-D566-11D1-B2F0-00A0C9062910 (first instance was on PNP0C14:01) [ 2.331351] acpi PNP0C14:03: duplicate WMI GUID 05901221-D566-11D1-B2F0-00A0C9062910 (first instance was on PNP0C14:01) [ 2.358875] nvme nvme0: missing or invalid SUBNQN field.
