crash message for i915 driver

I notice a frequent kernel crash assotiated with i915 GPU driver on MSI
MS-7D16/H510I PRO WIFI (MS-7D16), BIOS 1.30 09/09/2021.

If I boot with 'nomodeset', the crash does not happen, but I can not get the
front audio to work.
