Hi, I'm struggling with same issue but in ASUS Q408UG model.. I'd like to try if this kernel works.. The problem is that I don't have a clue how to download and install it.. If someone could give me a hand, I'd appreciate a lot

You can try to pass i8042.probe_defer=1 boot option for the recent kernels. If this solves the problem, we may add the similar quirk entry. If it doesn't, it must be another problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
