Now I'm back to using only Wifi to see if it stops occurring.

I have been using only Wifi for several days now and I haven't observed a single occurrence of the issue.

When I was connecting through ethernet cable (via a USB adapter) it was happening almost every day.

It's pretty clear that the issue has to do with wired network; I'm guessing it's specific to USB-to-ethernet adapters, otherwise this would be affecting a huge number of users and by now you would have fixed it.

Assuming I'm guessing right, what would be the next step to help diagnose this?

The usual way is to provide information about HW and the driver that is used, but I first must ask if the issue still persists. It has been a while and the latest TW snapshot could be fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
