I'll build a kernel locally.
What should I test? The patch mentioned above against 5.18.0, the debug patch
from Hannes or both?
Regarding stack overflow or such:
This is an 8GB raspberry pi4 and it is only crashing when running a huge VM
(7.5GB) as OBS build job, building a package (kodi) which actually uses all
this memory. It's always this one build job crashing the machine, relatively
reliably.
I have seen my other 8GB raspi4 which is running 2 "smaller" (3.7G) build jobs
at once crash at least once with a similar log message, but after enabling
kdump it has not happened again.
