qt4-qtscript Has to be removed to get the 4.8 update but it breaks scripts such as lyrics in amarok
Any fix on the menu?
Unfortunately qt4-qtscript had issues with building against Qt 4.8 and it took some time before this was resolved upstream. However the new version has landed in those repositories that have KDE 4.8 and also Amarok has been updated to build again with Script support. i am not sure which repo you are using, but with the next update qt4-qtscript should be automatically installed together with an updated Amarok.
