[opensuse-kde] Packages missing in KDE:Unstable:SC
I compiled a list of packages that are present in KDE:Distro:Factory but are absent in KDE:Unstable:SC. Some of these are probably intentional since the goals of the two projects are not exactly the same, but others I think should probably be present in KDE:Unstable:SC. First is the list of packages that are available in KDE:Distro:Factory but are not available in KDE:Unstable:SC, KDE:Unstable:Playground, or KDE:Extra (in other words there is no installable version of this for KDE:Unstable:SC): a | apper | aqbanking | automoc4 c | clementine | create-resources d | dbus-1-glib | dcmtk | decibel f | freetds g | gammaray | getdata | gfxboot | ggz | ggz-client-libs | gpg2 | gpgme | gwenhywfar k | kaffeine | kchmviewer | kcm_gtk | kdebase4-wallpapers | kdedesktopcheck | kdelibs4-apidocs | kdesvn | kdeutils4 | kdevelop4-plugins | kdiff3 | kepas | kiosktool | kmymoney | knemo | koffice2 | koffice2-l10n | kradio | krename | ksshaskpass | kst | ktorrent | kvirc | kvkbd | kvpnc l | libalkimia | libgcal | libgmm++-devel | libindi | libjreen | libkvkontakte | liblastfm | libmal | libmms | libmsn | libmygpo-qt | libnova | libofx | libqimageblitz4 | libqtweetlib | libspnav | libucil | libunicap | log4cplus m | mirall | mobile-broadband-provider-info | moodbar n | nepomuk-virtuoso-converter o | ocaml-facile | openconnect | oxygen-molecule p | plasmoid-quickaccess | python-distribute | python-pyudev q | qtcurve-kde4 | quassel | qwt r | rpmlint | rpmlint-mini | rsibreak s | skanlite | speedcrunch | synaptiks t | taglib | taglib-extras x | xplanet Next is for packages that are available in KDE:Distro:Factory and KDE:Unstable:Playground but not KDE:Unstable:SC (so users of KDE:Unstable:SC must install an unstable version). I am unclear whether this is intentional or not, since some non-KDE SC packages, like digikam, have links to the stable KDE:Distro:Factory version in KDE:Unstable:SC, while others, like amarok and rekonq, do not. It is my opinion that stable versions of non-KDE SC programs should be available, but I think the decision during the repo reorganization was to not have them, which makes the inclusion of packages like digikam (which have unstable versions in KDE:Unstable:Playground) confusing. a | amarok | arora c | calligra | choqok k | k3b | kdbg | kdevelop4 | kdevelop4-pg-qt | kile | konversation | krusader o | ocaml-facile | openconnect | oxygen-molecule p | podofo q | qoauth r | rekonq s | scribus | smb4k t | tellico Finally, here are packages in KDE:Distro:Factory and KDE:Extra, but not in KDE:Unstable:SC. I am not sure whether these should be moved to KDE:Unstable:SC to make it more similar to KDE:Distro:Factory or if they are okay where they are. Either way this is probably a lower priority. a | akonadi-googledata | audex n | nepomukcontroller p | plasmoid-cwp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
