Hi ! I "discovered" some strange behavior of yast2 / qt assistant : First, I start yast2 while qt assistant is running. Everything is normal. Then, I click on "Software installieren/löschen" (= "Install/delete Software"). Now, yast2 starts to permanently redisplay itself (the window flickers). While I can still use yast2, install some packages or just exit, assitant freezes. Until I kill assitant, system load is something like this : assistant uses about 56% CPU y2controlcenter uses about 22% CPU X is using 6% to 20% If I exit yast2 without killing assistant, assistant starts to use 99% of CPU. This, yast2 and assistant, is the only case I know this happens. I'm using SuSE 8.0 (all updates), kde 3.0.4. Has anybody else seen something like this ? mfG, Kjell Morgenstern

------------------------------- Kjell, Your question might be better asked on the regular SuSE mail list, as YaST2 isn't really a KDE item. There are more folks over on that list as well, so you are more likely to get some answers than here. Just a suggestion for you.
