Did you install any of the following: Clam-AV, Sophos, F-Prot or H+BEDV? One of these is needed for KMail's anti-virus wizard to work. At least for SUSE 9.2 Pro and KDE 3.3.x. The Finish button won't be enabled unless there is something for the wizard to do. Stan

I have installed Clam-AV, Sophos and H+BEDV, but wizard not work here. These was happen after some KDE upgrade, when I still used SuSE 9.1. After I installed SuSE 9.2 (new installation) virus wizard never worked. Spam wizard is ok. I look in the /opt/kde3/bin and see the three scripts to do the antivirus (kmail_antivir.sh, kmail_clamav.sh and kmail_fprot.sh) but the filters are not in filter list. Please if is possible for you, I like very much if you can sendo to me the filter definitions created by the wizard. Thank you very much Thadeu

I would IF kmail was creating the wizards. The anti-virus wizard does not seem to be creating the anti-virus filters as it says it will. The basic anti-spam filters get created so I'm thinking we've found a bug in the anti-virus wizard. Stan

I can confirm that I get the same results. Anti-Virus Wizard runs, finds anti-virus progs on my system, lets me finish the process but no new filters are actually created. I seem to remember the spam filter showing up in the menu before it actually started working as well (this could be my own mis-rememory though). SuSE 9.0, most recent stable kde and kontact via Apt See ya -- dh Don't shop at ZipZoomFly.com!

I experienced the same when I was attempting to use the Spam and Virus filters on KMail. I don't have a need for it anymore because my current mail provider is much better at filtering. eric -- Eric Wagar eric@deadhookers.org
