[opensuse-kde] Where is Usenet News in KDE PIM from 4.8?
I have a spare laptop on which I occasionally try the latest version of KDEPIM
to see if it's as functional as KDEPIM3. So in installed OpenSuSE 12.1 and
KDE4.8 today.
Although the help file clearly shows a USENET category, it doesn't appear easy
to actually find it when I'm in Kontact. Is it there?
Can anyone tell me how to set it up?

Install the package 'knode'. And 'Usenet' will appear in the left pane of Kontact. Kontact is a "wrapper" around several standalone applications. Knode is the usenet/news client, and it's not part of the default install. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
