Seems that autologin is borked with kde-3.1.95 packages - I get a "authentication failed" reply when kdm first starts up. Worked fine with 3.1.4. Even removed the kdm options from /etc/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm (to see if it was causing any conflicts), but no dice. Seems others have had the same problem: see the post on KDE's list at http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde&m=107486581219554&w=2 Any ideas? Bugs in RC1? -- John T. Seems it might be a bug in SuSE's KDE packages (or at least with a dependancy): http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68331 On Monday 26 January 2004 12:24, you wrote:
