[opensuse-kde] Plasma5: background positioning not working
HI, I've default wallpaper (green bulb) in sddm and Plasma but with different size. So this give a sort of bad transition from sddm to desktop. Under desktop setting, the positioning (center, scaled..) does not work. I see the change in the small preview but the Apply button does nothing ! Is this a known bug ? Daniele. Well, not a bug. If the background has the same resolution of the screen, there's nothing to resize/scale/crop..
I've changed the resolution of the background in sddm theme, so now I've the desktop and login screen at same size. Not enough, during the splash another resolution is used :( 1280x1024->1920x1080[*]->1280x1024.. * not sure How to fix the splash background ? Removing the splash screen, things are a better but transition from sddm and Plasma desktop is not smooth as in Kde4. I've submitted a bug report on Sept.26th. See: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=947682 I requested that it should halt and replace it with a fade in to desktop. Cheers!
