I have installed the 4.8 tree, now I have configured the spam (spamassassin) with KMail.
afterward in my INBOX I have only Mails with the Mail-Header no TXT in the Body.
The good news the Mailinglists are "normal" ;).
I mean the Problem is, on my Server I have a running amavis with spamassassin.on the client the spamassassin is newer
sometime a pop up window is on the screen with a Problem Reporting I have 2 different spamassassin (?)
After deleting the spam rules I have my mail again complete.

It should be gone in 4.8.5 and 4.9.0.

AFAIK the patch is part of KDF and if the person committing it cares about KR48 users that repo's packages should contain it as well.
So if Günther still gets empty bodies it confirms that the patch does not prevent data loss. If either of those repos do not have the patch changing and testing again could help.
There is a workaround which should help in most cases. Just do not lose your internet connection while transferring mails from imap to a local folder.

Just to be clear, the workaround is in the report. Losing the internet connection is a different circumstance which will lead to data loss.
