Mmmm ouch, which repositories do have configured? What version of KDE4 are you using? KDE3 is not fully supported and is only kept on life support by a community member. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

How did you manage to get KDE 3 on openSUSE 12? The libraries in the back-trace seem to be from KDE 4. Chris -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Well kde3 on 12.1 can be called a virus, trying to install one or another package. See the list of zypper lock I've made to be sure to not reinstall paleolithic software http://susepaste.org/19658535 -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Ambassador GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
Chris, I don't know. Just installing some apps and came to that error. Anyway, have already reinstalled OS(don't have time to find the problem). Looks like you installed the KDE4 version of juk, and one of the components it uses is crashing kded4 (either Phonon's zeitgeist integration, or power management). Install libqzeitgeist0-debuginfo and kdebase4-workspace- debuginfo and repost the backtrace if you want more help with this, or replace KDE4 juk with KDE3 juk.
