Hi,
I seem to be having a problem with getting KDE to talk to MySQl. KDE, andany other app that relies on the QT connection won't work. But, OpenOffice.org, etc does.
qt-apps such as the kde apps might use the qt modules to access a database. There is a qt3 module for mysql, for postgres and for sqlite. Did you install qt3-mysql? HTH, Matt
Since OOo works, as does mysqlcc, then I think the database itself is ok. But, I can't make use of rekall or konqueror to update my tables. Whenever I try to add a new line, I get an error message saying that my SQL statement is incorrect. I tried upgrading to the latestand greatest KDE, but this didn't fix anything.
I browsed back until February to see if anyone else is having this problem.
Thanks andy
