HI guys, are qt5 compiled with some sse2 optimizations on 32bit ? It seems that upstream does this..
Hi Daniele, yes, Qt is built in default configuration with regards to this setting.

Daniele.
Any plans about packages without sse2 ? I think that in Debian (Fedora too ?) sse2 is disabled or there are alternative packages for old cpu. No plans for now. But i guess it's possible to provide something in non- official repos (*not* openSUSE releases, and KDE:Qt5)

Thanks. Daniele. I'm also running an older CPU. The Q6600. Supported Instruction Sets:
Intel MMX Intel SSE Intel SSE2 Intel SSE3 Not so old. My main desktop is Athlon 2800xp. More or less 10 years old !
But I still have: PIV 1,7Ghz with 512Mib RAM Nootebook from 2000/2001 Celeron2 700Mzh 256Mib RAM (8 for vcard) Another nootebook, this is the newest machine, 4-5 years.
