I tried at once : mv ~.kde ~.kde.old and new gui. All the same. Then I made mv ~.Mail ~.Mail.old. Also nothing changed, except when I copied the new emails from Mail.old to Mail they could not be seen at all. The old ones show there numbers, but the newest ones nothing at all. Nearly fascinating ! Also a new installation of kdepim had the same results.Maybe an import to any other mailclient is the solution. otto
