Well see here [1],[2],[3] .
The 331.20 breaks pieces here and there and doesn't work OK. Just now I've uninstalled it, and NVIDIA have released the 319.82 version for x64 which fixes the akonadi problem and also introduces X 1.15 support.
I can confirm that akonadi is working again with 319.82 on OpenSUSE 13.1 x64 and with kernel 3.13-rc7.

I will try 319.82 tomorrow. Will post results.
Thanks
Russ
Downloaded 331-28 from Nvidia website, show as latest stable release for my GeForce 8400GS ( Was released yesterday. installed it the hardway. Installer informs you to deinstall older version installed by another installer. (I installed older one 331-20 from SUSE (Nvidia) repo. My screen is cleaner and better looking than its been in a long time.
331-38 works on openSUSE 13.1. So far no problem starting akonadi after a reboot. Will see if it continues to work. I will continue trying different apps I use to see how they do.
Russ
Hi Russ & list,
Yes, I have 331.38 also installed and there seems to be no problem (except some tearing issues, have to check that still), Akonadi starts, CTRL+C works.
Also for those of you that are trying the latest 3.13-rcX kernels and want to use NVIDIA prop. driver (331.38) use this patch [1] to make it compile and work.
Have a nice day.
