I guess some settings for realplay is messed up - how do I restore these without loosing the entire desktop
I find 4 directories and 4 files in my /home directory that relate to real.
Ahh yes. I did not think about looking other places than .kde/ which by the way contains: ./.kde/share/mimelnk/audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin.desktop ./.kde/share/applnk/.hidden/realpl.desktop can anybody tell me if i can delete these safely??.
-----snip----------- I don't think those need to be removed, (you probably want to keep them). As far as I understand it those are links /icons/menu entries for the program. If you remove them then you will need to recreate the links if you don't want to run the program from the command line. the mimelink is used to automatically run realplayer if an appropriate file is selected. see ya -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com!
