[opensuse-kde] plasmoid smooth tasks make desktop crash

I love the smooth tasks plasmoid. But it crashes the KDE desktop on openSUSE 12.1 and its KDE 4.7. Does anyone know if there is an option in smooth tasks that may work around this crash?
