The force was with me! Everything went smooth except for one issue. This happened when I upgraded my laptop last week. Whenever I log into KDE, my volumes are not loaded. Everytime, KAmix shows all of my volumes as being turned down. There is no "mixer" section in the control center anymore. Everytime to get sounds I have to open yast and go into my audiocard to turn them back up.
Anyone have any suggestions? ============
Just start KMix up, open the mixer window, go to Settings and untick the item Restore sound settings. You can then use KAMix to set your volumes and they will retain your settings.
