after update from 8.1 to 8.2 "|" does not work anymore

Hi, after updating my suse box from 8.1 to 8.2 the key "<>|" (left to y on a german keyboard) does not work anymore in kde. If i switch to the console in works fine. Does anyone have an idea what might be the reason? Dominik
