I suspect not even one of the newer updates or the ATI-Driver. We have a few systems here with Intel915 Chips and the problem seems to be occurring with one specific screen saver. (Motor). I myself use random screen savers without problems except it starts motor. Could be a problem with OpenGL maybe but i cannot say this for sure. A Colleague switched from Motor where his system froze regularly to a 2D screensaver and he has no problems anymore.

You can revert those updates and check which one is responsible.

Well, I replied a day ago but it seems that reply went to Stefan rather than to the list. ATI is a good guess (wrong word?) 'cos it matches my hardware. The video driver module worked perfectly until the last Kernel upgrade - which was one of a number applied simultaneously. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
