systemsettings -> login screen My default is that locally, any KDE user can shut down the system. But you can change that. As for permissions -- that's so enormous! I use the Konqueror file browser and that has a setting which allows you to chose what to display for each file and directory as you view the directory contents. You can also click on any one icon to drill down. Apart from that, could you be more specific please. What is this tool from Mageia?
