Hello,
I've just noticed that kmail now has the ability to "Mark Message as Spam" and likewise for ham. This is available in the context menu on a message, and button for it can be placed on the toolbar via "Configure Toolbar". I think this might be a newish feature, because I haven't noticed it before.
It is a new feature in Kmail 1.6. BTW what is ham
So what I'm wondering is, does anyone know what it does? Is this a stepping stone to better integration with spam filtering tools in a future release, or can I actually use it for something now? For example I tried to create a filter based on this spam "Mark" and I couldn't figure out how to do it, since it doesn't actually seem to change the message or it's headers in any way.
I do not know how the filter works. I rather think that it is a simple "From:"-filter.
Hi Craig
I do not see any Spam blocker in my Kmail. The only thing I see close to it is Bounce. Maybe it has something to do with the Spam Assasin thats also new in this distro.
It is there in my kmail as well. It shows up in the second level of the context menu or in the drop downs. You will find it under "Mark message as..." (or similar, I use German as language) Hope this helps Stefan
