How are those supposed to work for people what require the average app to be fullscreen or nearly so to be usable, who see little to no desktop showing on each virtual desktop. The now discarded pager was simple and intuitive. Activities seem nothing like simple or intuitive.
What makes you think the pager is discarded? The pager and virtual desktops are still there, only one cosmetic feature is not.
But I was also wondering why different wallpapers are so important to people, when you usually never look at desktop anyway.
...leaving apart the beauty of different desktops rolling with cube effect :-) :-) :-) I look at desktop, I set up many application to open in a specific desktop, and them do not occupy all the desktop, so the different desktop aid to recognize where you are also before the application is shown :-) :-) and also, if virtualdesktop pager, or better, the new activity pager that will come after this email I hope :-) :-), that should be the same as virtualdesktop pager, plus shows the the different activity wallpapers in its windowettes :-) :-) :-) manythanks, ciao, pier :-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
