users who want to migrate to KDE 4.1 must either upgrade to openSUSE 11.1, or use the KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop repository (which will get KDE 4.1 when openSUSE 11.1 is released). If they want KDE 4.1 while we're still developing and bugfixing it, they must add the :Factory repository (which is contrary to its name also available for older openSUSE releases)
And what are the plans for KDE 4.2 ? If both SUSE and KDE hold their promised release cycles ( 8 months/ 6 months ) KDE-4.2.0 will be released few days before 11.1.
But they don't. Certainly not openSUSE. It's semi official that 11.1 is planned for release around December, because of SLE11 coming up. And that it'll have 4.1 4.2 for 11.1 will become available in the confusingly named :Factory repo as I understand it. Which apparently will have the factory version of KDE, backported to (some) released versions of openSUSE. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
