What you do is copy the icons to another directory off your desktop. Then kill susewatcher which will disappear some icons. You then copy these icons back into your ~/Desktop directory. Then you will have control over them with out susewatcher doing anything. Also if you don't really want to use susewatcher then remove this file. susewatcher.desktop The file is located here. "/opt/kde3/share/apps/kdesktop/" At least I think it was there. You can look around for it.
