Ok, so I thought that I should share my findings with you. What I have found out ir that the user account is not the problem here. What I have found is that the problem only occurs after a resume from suspen. If I reboot, login and then let the screensaver activate, then it works as expected. If I suspend and then resume, the screen is disabled after some 15 minutes. After some thinking I remembered that I installed laptop-mode-tools some months ago. I uninstalled laptop-mode-tools. Now it seems to work as expected. I have tested for a couple of days now it the screen hasn't been turned off in any cases. I have suspended and resumed. Rebooted and so on. I hope that was the problem.
