HI
I've just downloaded the latest KDE onto opensuse 10.1 and its reverted the login dialogue to old style one where you have all the error messages scrolling up. IS there anyway to go back to the previous style which i guess was a Novell one?
Samething happened to me. I fixed it by running the command "genkdmconf --no-old".

Thanks Alvin - worked a treat. That must be some mistake in the build somewhere to revert it all back instead of using the current settings.

Hi list - slightly off topic... - I've got several SuSE9.2s and -9.3s that I could like to KDE-upgrade to the latest and finest. Where may I find how-to, gotcha's, downloads and other stuff to do it with. I usually work with YAST, RPMs and understand -tar.gz's and my SuSE in general. Any hint is (as always) appriciated! -- ------------------------------ Med venlig hilsen/Best regards Verner Kjærsgaard
