Maybe he refers to the panning feature, which has gone with xrandr 1.2. Look at: http://emmes.livejournal.com/2700.html
That's it exactly. I have a new box built to replace the one now running 10.2. Desktop "panning" is crucial, so I have to pick an OS to install that has it. What is the newest openSUSE that does, 10.2?
I'd expect that this problem will go away if you simply completely disable the randr extension in xorg.conf . -- Lubos Lunak KDE developer -------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org Lihovarska 1060/12 tel: +420 284 028 972 190 00 Prague 9 fax: +420 284 028 951 Czech Republic http://www.suse.cz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
