See how: http://kdeatopensuse.wordpress.com/2010/06/05/week-22-kde-at-opensuse/ I don't think anybody will be mad at you if you report in bugzilla.novell.com - but I could be wrong. Not sure who's the proper upstream for the kde4 integration.
nope, i tried without kde4 integration: still doesn't work. a couple of times i got some cryptic error report from java, but when i tried to report that on the oracle bug tracker, i didn't get anywhere. i think the place to report might be go-oo, since openSUSE uses go-oo far as i know.
What I did to get it work: 1. uninstall the OpenOffice_org-kde4 package 2. type this in the commandline: export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=none I know the first step did not fix the problem, while the second step did. However, I do not know if the first step is necessary. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
