I am having a most curious problem with a new installation of SuSE 9.1/KDE 3.2 on an older machine. When I log in to KDE the CD tray opens. If I close it, it waits about 1 minute and opens again. I find that I can still read CDs, but I'm concerned I'm going to hit the tray and break it at some point. What might be causing this and how do I fix it?
I'm sure there's a regular config file for this, but I know you can get into it through Yast -> System -> Powertweak config. Once Powertweak's installed, go to Hardware->CDROM-> "autoeject" option. It'll spit the cd tray out any time you don't have a disc in the drive - Set to "0" to not have this behavior. Steve
