This is about digikam from KDE:/Extra for openSUSE 13.1
( http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_13.1/ )
After a recent update (via the regular gpk-update-viewer I believe)
digikam from KDE:/Extra refused to start on a friend's openSUSE 13.1
system.
# digikam
Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceAdded(QDBusObjectPath)
Object::connect: No such signal org::freedesktop::UPower::DeviceRemoved(QDBusObjectPath)
digikam: symbol lookup error: digikam: undefined symbol: _ZN7KGeoMap14GeoCoordinatesC1Ev
After looking into this a bit, I figured I'd give updating libkgeomap2
a try:
# zypper -v in libkgeomap2-4.6.0-35.1
The following package is going to be REMOVED:
libkgeomap1 3.5.0-7.3
The following 2 packages are going to be upgraded:
libkgeomap-lang 4.5.0-30.1 -> 4.6.0-35.1
libkgeomap2 4.5.0-29.1 -> 4.6.0-35.1
Retrieving package libkgeomap2-4.6.0-35.1.x86_64
Retrieving: libkgeomap2-4.6.0-35.1.x86_64.rpm
Retrieving package libkgeomap-lang-4.6.0-35.1.noarch
Retrieving: libkgeomap-lang-4.6.0-35.1.noarch.rpm
Installing: libkgeomap2-4.6.0-35.1
Installing: libkgeomap-lang-4.6.0-35.1
And indeed after this everything works again.
Is this a missing / too weak dependency?
