Since no users of Unstable seemed to participate in the IRC meetings where the repo layout was decided, I tried to ask these questions on your behalf, expecting that this would become a problem.
The answer: Unstable:SC users should be able to use the packages from KDE:UpdatedApps - and the base distro I guess - to get stable versions of NON- SC apps. As these packages generally should be "forward compatible".
I was at a conference the time, that is why I didn't attend the IRC meeging.
This would work, but only so long as every non-SC package is in updatedapps, even those that haven't actually been updated.
Isn't it possible to install the versions from the official OSS repo in this case? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
