-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 . Having this problem: as user, can't right-click and edit files in Konq as superuser. Says KDEInit could not launch 'kdesu' . Previous answers were to $ xhost +localhost , and # xauth merge /home/username/.Xauthority # export DISPLAY=:0.0 but neither of these works for me. The former is supposed to be a security problem, but I don't see why. Does this force it to listen on TCP? I also tried $ xhost LOCAL: , and it doesn't work either. Anyone know why this happens? It is a serious pain. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjzxMqAACgkQnQ18+PFcZJvzlQCfeLUhm46OWW5WI9I48m4sPR1E 3MwAn0W2ZzM5Hd/AArNl4FSDTDDI5zUY =AOe4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
