The now discarded pager was simple and intuitive. Activities seem nothing like simple or intuitive. Why do you think the pager is "discarded"? It is still there, and installed by default.
yes, but for activities we haven't a pager like the simple and intuitive one for virtual desktops :-) :-) :-)
And I don't understand, how activities are more or less "simple or intuitive" than virtual desktops.
the only thing is becouse to access to activities we haven't any pager like the one for virtual desktops. -virtual desktop pager shows at a glance in wich desktop you are, show the number of desktop, show the icons and so on.. and also shows all desktops together on the screen, drag and drop among desktops.. -activity pager not, you have to click it and choose activity, and it is very slowly, on my sixcore desktop with opensuse 13.2, compared with pager, virtual desktop pager is more reactive to clicks :-) and cannot have all my activities on the screen and drag and drop among them
Kind Regards, Wolfgang
