kde 4.3.5 on opensuse 11.2, openoffice 3.2.0 from opensuse repository
Following a recent update (though I can't specify exactly when) I've noticed that the buttons on the openoffice status bar at the bottom are invisible. The status bar itself shows but only the shape of the buttons is visible. Clicking on the blank buttons will call up the appropriate menu, and sometimes brings out the button text. Also changing the kde theme will sometimes reveal some, but not all of the buttons, though in some cases will hide their outlines completely. Similarly, changing the openoffice icon size and style in the options menu sometimes reveals the button text or hides the buttons.
This problem doesn't seem to exist on a machine running gnome, so I assume it's kde related.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

Please add you comment to the bug. Maybe that changes something regarding the OO mantainers at novell.

Comment added to bug report. After reading the bug report, I tried two experiments, making changes to ~/.profile 1 adding export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde4 to the profile doesn't make any difference, the button text is invisible. but 2 adding export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde to the profile reveals all the buttons on the status bar.
