Hello! This strange strange look of the panel have also appeared on my computer with Intel graphics card after a recent update. I have been experimenting with the colour of the panel by changing the fill colour of all its parts to gray (#AAAAAA). First it looked rather well, but after an update two black rectangles at left and right appeared and also a black line at the bottom (similar to transparent parts in Kevin's screenshot). Bye!
