Running KMail 4.9 on KDE- 4.9.00 "release 558" over openSUSE 12.1 x86_64 has not been possible to save a draft mail using IMAP protocol as it used to be on older 4.8
Works for me.

Sven,
Thanks for your fast response.
Are you using any different settings or platform than I mentioned above?
The Dialog Box with message I got everytime I try to save a draft is "Failed to save the message: Unknown collection"
It reminds me some Database issues. I don't know how to fix it.
Regards,
saving drafts works for me too, but i remember seeing such errors earlier. i found that in settings -> configure kmail -> identities -> advanced, i had set the drafts folder to a location that didn't exist anymore.
did you check that?
Phani, Thank you, very much for your suggestions. You are right. KR49 seems removed the old Folders Path so It could not find them anymore. I writed down the new path for each mail accounts and it solved. BTW, this KDE-PIM looks very polished full of features and beutifull graphic interface.
