Hi Ilya et al, now that there is a KDE3 repository for Leap 42.1, will there also be a 1-click installer again? I made the mistake to set up a new computer only a few weeks ago and thus with 13.2 (which is running fine), and now I'm wondering if it's better to do a fresh install of Leap or to upgrade from 13.2. Without the installer I would be lost with option one, but I also worry about upgrading (never succeessfully managed that before, but my last try is ages ago). Did somebody from this list already try upgrading from 13.2 to Leap? Any experiences if there are glitches or serious problems with basic stuff like power management for laptops etc.? Can Leap 42.1 already be recommended in general or is there too much beta left yet? Best regards Carolin On Wednesday 04 November 2015 02:56:20 J. Leslie Turriff wrote:
It may be the end of KDE3 as such, but Trinity DE, the fork of KDE3, is still alive and well. See https://www.trinitydesktop.org/

Hi All,
I just read this, in french of course : https://fr.opensuse.org/Annonce_de_version_42.1 as it is a proposal for a translation. But I did not see any KDE3 in the paragraph "Autres environnements de bureau" (~ Other windows managers ?).
Could it be the definitive end of KDE3 ?
Sincerly, Patrick
