we try to install kde3 on Tumbleweed.
DISPLAYMANAGER in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager ist set to "kdm3" , but Systemd can't start the KDM.
Systemd seems to wait for a PID-File "kdm3.pid", but a "kdm.pid" is created.
/opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc shows that the default for the pidfile is /var/run/kdm.pid
So I think the Default-pid-file in kdm3 is wrong.
Is there a Bugzilla for kde3?
Why do you need a bugzilla for that? Does it work if you change the PidFile in /opt/kde3/share/config/kdm/kdmrc to the file that systemd expects? Checking my setup, displaymanager is 'kde' (and is KDE3), so it works with the defaults. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde3+owner@opensuse.org
