Auf die folgende Message habe ich in der squid-Liste bisher keine Antwort erhalten, vielleicht weiss ja hier jemand etwas: We have used squid 2.2STAB3 with isdn dial-up to our provider for a long time without problems. Now we have changed to 2.2STAB5 on a new pc but with the "same configuration" (so far as i can see). The problem is, that squid always send an error-message "parent not accessible" when starting a new request and the line is actually down. The timeout is 2-3 seconds, thats too short for the isdn dial to come up. I haven't found any entry to set the timeout for the connection to a parent cache. Whats wrong ?
