Hallo Peter, hallo an alle, Folgendes zu pap habe ich unter man pppd gefunden: pap-max-authreq n Set the maximum number of PAP authenticate-request transmissions to n (default 10). Hab ich nachgezaehlt. Er probiert es 10x und dann ist Ende. pap-restart n Set the PAP restart interval (retransmission time out) to n seconds (default 3). pap-timeout n Set the maximum time that pppd will wait for the peer to authenticate itself with PAP to n seconds (0 means no limit). Ausser diesen 3 Möglichkeiten habe ich nichts gefunden um unter umstaenden im Bereich der pppd Options pap zu aktivieren bzw. zu deaktivieren. Bezueglich der pap-secrets muss ich da eigentlich auch etwas bei: Secrets for authentication using PAP # client server secret IP addresses eintragen ? Eigentlich nicht oder etwa doch ?? Tja auch die manuals unter usr/doc/packages zu dem Thema inkl. faq haben mich wachgehalten heute nacht allerdings hat es mir keine neuen Erkenntisse eingebracht. Hoffe mir kann immer noch jemand helfen bzw. hat einen Tip fuer mich, wo ich noch ansetzen koennte. In diesem Sinne hoffe ich auf Hilfe bzw. hat vielleicht jemand schonmal ein aehnliches Problem und es schon geloest. Danke Harald P.S. Muss ich unter Umstaenden die YAST ppp konfiguration noch durchfuehren. Habe es schon einmal probiert, allerdings zeigte yast sich nicht gerade kooperativ, da ich die default Eintreage nicht aendern konnte. Ich konnte den Cursor nicht bewegen, komisch.
