I have started to examine upgrade options for my available old ATX cabinet. There are upgrade kits from AMD and Intel, containing mainboard, CPU, memory and disks etc. If possible, I'll try to utilize existing hard disks.
Now, what are the hardware suggestions (minimum and recommended) for a home server to be able to utilize the invis services?
Is media streaming (video and audio) out of scope for this server?

Hello, for our "invis appliances" for up to 25 users we just use an Intel Atom 330 with 2GB RAM and two 500GB -- 1TB Harddisks. If the customer need the Fax function we need a Motherboard with PCI slot and additional a FritCard. We never used an invis for streaming, but why not?
