Reminder: Heroes meeting at the openSUSE Conference
Hello, we'll have an informal meeting of the openSUSE Heroes at the openSUSE Conference on Saturday evening during the BBQ. We'll meet in the beer garden (around 18:20, after Alexandre's talk) to find a place or a table to chat. Someone [1] even made a formal schedule entry for our informal meeting: https://events.opensuse.org/conferences/oSC23/program/proposals/4237 Of course, guests are always welcome. If you are interested in what the Heroes do, feel free to join us! Regards, Christian Boltz [1] not Doug, even if it looks so ;-) -- I have zero personal opinion what the right openSUSE default system should be. For my personal usage any default system is always somehow "wrong". [Johannes Meixner in opensuse-factory]

Sounds good :-) My brief status report * having cleared up some 12'000+ held messages on mailman3, I can confirm that the mailman UI sluggishness and timeouts were/are indeed caused by having a large amount of messages held. * because I got annoyed when logfiles on pontifex suddenly went missing in the middle of a month, I ended up "discovering" the logrotate preremove option. It is brilliant for log archiving. * I've "recruited" Bernd Ritter, he is helping us/me with some packaging of some of my code. * I opened a couple of tickets about weird stuff on provo-mirror, but I have not looked into it. Have a lot of fun at the conference - I'm leaving for Stockholm in about an hour. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (19.2°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes (2016 - present) We're hiring - https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Heroes
