[heroes] mailing list archive ?
Most of our mailing lists do not archive mails within mlmmj, only externally - 86 of 123 lists. This means the functionality of retrieving messages by number (get-NNNNN) is essentially disabled. Unfortunately mlmmj does not handle the situation gracefully - the requester receives nothing when it fails. No error message, nothing. listcontrol.c:869: Unable to open archive file: No such file or directory On those 86 lists, it looks as if the archiving was switched off on 30 March 2015 - does anyone know why? I'm guessing maybe for lack of space? The functionality is probably not much used, but it is documented: https://de.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mailinglisten#Einzelne_Nachricht_abrufen Remarkably, it is not documented in the English version: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Mailing_lists#Retrieval_of_messages_from_th... -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.5°C) http://www.cloudsuisse.com/ - your owncloud, hosted in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: heroes+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: heroes+owner@opensuse.org
Hi Per I'm afraid I could not help here, but maybe our former Mailing list admin Henne knows a bit more? On Sun, 05 Feb 2017 17:38:16 +0100 Per Jessen <per@computer.org> wrote:

Not lack but duplication of data. You can always download the .mbox file https://lists.opensuse.org/ and get the message from there...
