If you run the list help command, you get a different subset (notice that in this case the To address changes, and the command goes in the subject AND the body: ... leave - Leave this mailing list. ... unsubscribe - An alias for 'leave'.

Certainly is. Maybe not to the list software or admins, but definitely there are to be no messages without subjects to be kept in any of my mail folders.
