I think we're good on that one, except for the index. I cannot believe how slow that combination of python+xapian is. My most recent attempt got killed again.

Correct - at worst we get incomplete search results. Don't worry, my problem, not yours :-)

Is there any way to speed up the stuff? Maybe by indexing in chunks?
